Are you interested in adding a set-and-forget lead magnet to your home page which will establish your expertise and bring in qualified leads for your programs, products, and services on auto-pilot?
It’s tempting to try to sell to website visitors before you have built rapport and found out what their specific pain points are.
Sales gurus everywhere say:
“Prescription without diagnosis is malpractice.”
This is especially true if you are a coach or a consultant.
The trouble is, most website visitors won’t ever give you the chance to have a conversation with them to even begin to diagnose their problem and determine if you can help.
Even the best website copy is still a one-sided conversation. At best you can anticipate what your prospect is thinking and try to join the conversation you think is going on in their head.
That’s what’s great about quizzes: They give your potential client a chance to have a mini-discovery session with you and get a tiny sample of what you would recommend they do next if you actually had the chance to talk to them.

I was Director of Marketing for an I.T. company for over five years. Then life intervened and I needed a schedule with flexible hours and to be location-independent. I transitioned to being a self-employed freelance writer and marketer. I love to share what I’ve learned and help other business owners and side-hustlers who want to transition to full self-employment.
This course walks through two tech options for your quiz. Both are paid (not free). One, QuizCat, is a WordPress plugin with an annual fee which includes updates. The other, TryInteract, is an app with a subscription model that has several tiers. You may already have software which could be used, such as Thrive Quiz Builder or a form builder which allows for branching logic and integration with your autoresponder. The latter may limit you as to the types of quizzes you can construct.
This course will walk through two different quiz tech options. One, QuizCat, is a WordPress plugin which works with a self-hosted WordPress website. The other, TryInteract, can be embedded into most types of sites including SquareSpace, Wix, and Kajabi sites, as well as some course platforms.
While chatbots are also interactive, they have limitations as to the options they can present prospects with as well as the end result they lead prospects towards. Quizzes in general are a little more subtle and allow for nuances which are beyond the capability of most chatbots.
This course will have a Facebook Group for students where you can get questions answered. If you want a done-with-you or done-for-you option for your quiz, that can be arranged.
